Somalia’s Speaker of Parliament Calls Attention to New Trained Troops

Mogadishu, Somalia (Maqaal.com) - Speaker of the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) of Somalia Sheik Adam Mohamed Nur (aka Sheik Adam Madobe) asked the TFG not to neglect troops trained in Ethiopia who recently returned to the city of Baidoa, Somalia.
 
Sheik Adam said that the troops are well-trained and a lot of resources were spent on their training therefore it is important for the TFG to make use of these troops.
 
 
Speaking at a press conference held in the city of Baidoa, he warned against the possibility that these troops will became like previous ones trained in Ethiopia who after neglect by TFG disbanded and joined either civilians or other groups.
 
The Speaker said that the troops were welcomed with overwhelming enthusiasm to the city of Baidoa and that the morale of the troops is currently high and that they are willing to serve the TFG loyally.
 
The troops the Speaker is talking about consist of military and police forces who have taken training in Ethiopia for several months and recently returned to Somalia.
